Housing for Students?

Housing for Students?

“Does SPC offer housing to students? Do you have recommendations on places close to campus?”

Unfortunately, no, St. Petersburg College does not offer housing for students.

However, if you are looking for affordable housing or a roommate, you can ask the Student Life & Leadership office at your campus. The office might be able to assist you in finding a roommate.

  1. Not a questions, just a comment. I think it would be a good idea to have a page where students could look into carpooling!

    • Dear Kimberly! Thank you for your comment. I will forward this message to someone who could maybe help and look into this. Thanks for your input!

  2. I completely agree with your comment Kimberly. So many students are discouraged because they can’t make it to their class or classes because of car troubles and lack of transportation. And carpooling would bring a sense of community and unity throughout the various campuses. Also, this is a great resource of student information you have put together Maria.

  3. Wouldn’t it be great if the bookstores carried bus passes to aid in students transportation.

    • It would really be nice if the student id that we get from PSTA, were good for discount passes, as of now they are only good for 1/2 price per ride, would be cheaper and easier if we could get daily, weekly, or monthly passes at an discount rate.

  4. I am pretty sure SPC has bus passes for students. My ethics professor was telling us about it but I can not recall what it was called.

  5. I am a first time new student to SPCollege. Just started express classes.I have had no problems using the bus system, as it is now free for all students attending SPC. Just show your student I.D. card when getting on the city bus.
